Bio
I spent 22 years in the U. S. Coast Guard on active duty, and have been fortunate to continue to serve this this amazing organization, and nation in a civilian capacity for 19 years, working at Coast Guard Sector Charleston's Command Center, in Charleston, SC. I have an extreme love/hate relationship with the amazing game of golf, and have been playing since I was a kid, though I wish I would have taken the game more seriously then.
Why am I doing this?
I'm a 2018, graduate of the Carolinas PGA HOPE Chapter in Charleston, SC. I enjoyed the program so much that I continued to participate as a peer mentor at our clinics at Stono Ferry Golf Club. I enjoy the experience of meeting new veterans, introducing them to the game of golf, and watching them grow through the 7 weeks of the clinic. The comeradery that grows between everyone is truly amazing no matter which service we all belonged to.
