John Schoenmaker
Bio
I have been golfing for most of my life and have participated in activities such as First Tee, Grow Golf Now, SCJGA, and I play on the Hillcrest High School golf team. I love golf so much that I have even worked for golf courses including working at Carolina Springs in the cart barn and caddying at Carolina Country Club. My other passion is music. I love playing my trumpet in concert band and in the Marching band.
Why am I doing this?
I want to participate in the 100 holes for hope because it is a way I can help people while doing something I love. I have a large respect for veterans and the sacrifices they make and this seems like one of the best ways I can help them. We have had veterans serve in the family, so I feel like I should help as much as I can.
